II. This article was about the alleged plans of eight suicide bombers. They were going to board seven planes that took off from Heathrow's terminal three and had several destinations including Chicago, Montreal, New York, Washington, Toronto, and San Francisco. They stated that they'd have done it "in the name of Islam." The men were caught before any part of their plans could could be carried out. These eight men pleaded innocent, and the trail still continues. However, a USB memory stick was found in one of the men's pockets. The USB had plane schedules, dates, times, and aircraft specifics saved on it. The planes would've had between 241 and 285 passengers each. Also, because of communications between the criminals and other men, it is now believed that there were to be 18 suicide bombers that would go to different Heathrow terminals and explode all at the same time. The effect of the bombers could have been even worse than 9/11 and many people could have died.

III. Reactions:
A) This article relates to impact of interaction among and within major societies because it deals with the interaction of Muslims and the impact they could have on us.

B) Not all Muslims are a threat, but we have had terrorist problems with them in the past. Terrorists, including suicide bombers, have been a big problem for many since the disaster of 9/11.

C) This article was written be a male, English, chief reporter, Gordon Raynor.

D) Raynor, being a non-Muslim, may be slightly prejudice towards them. He may believe all Muslims to be violent and threatening.

E) We didn't get to hear from a Muslim in this article. I think it would be interesting to see how they viewed these suicide bombers and their opinions on Muslim terrorists.

F) Terrorists have become a big problem ever since 9/11. I don't understand why they have to have such a problem with us, instead of living in their own countires, and dealing with their own problems. Islam is not supposed to be a violent faith, and I don't think that these terrorists understand that. It's getting completely out of control, and we need to find a way to put an end to their violence before they put an end to us.

There is nothing scarier than terroism in my opinion and I think that this has to be stopped. As hard as it could be to stop it there has to be a way to find the people who plan attacks like these. This is just another reason why there are US troops in Iraq although right here in are own country there are men plotting acts of terroism. It is hard to imagine anyhting being worse then 9/11 but this sheds light on one scenario that would if carried out be much worse.Interesting articel.
