Part A

i. Citation: The Jerusalem Post; "Tibi downplays Beirut visit, slans right." April 3, 2008
http://www.jpost.com/

ii. Summary: Mk Ahmed Tibi, the united Arab List-ta'al, tired to keep his visit to Lebanon, Beirut airport, on the down-low. He said it was nothing more then a stopover at the airport, he also added that he would visit Lebanon whenever he wanted or was invited to. Tibi had also been and stopped in Lebanon many times before this. It was a bit suspicious though when on Wednesday he visited Lebanon airport with 3 Arab journalists. On top of all this Lebanon is an enemy state to Israel, which makes people question him.

iii. Reactions:
A) An theme would be the impact of interaction among or within major societies, because when Tibi went to Lebanon the enemy state, it caused problems with his own people.

B) Some historical background on this issue is that years ago Israel attacked/invaded Lebanon and in 2006 there was the Lebanon War.

C) The point of view of this article is an Israeli news reporter(I'm not sure if its a male or female because all it said was that it was by JPOST.COM Staff.). Its also an insider on this issue.

D) There doesn't seen to be a bias, but the reporter seemed to be also suspicious and against Tibi about visiting Lebanon.

E) A missing point of view would be the three journalists that he met up with in the Lebanon airport, it would of helped me because i could of found out what he was doing there and why or what he wanted or was discussing with the journalists.

F) i thought it was very suspicious and weird that Tibi would go to the enemy state, Lebanon. And when he was questioned about it he got defensive and said he'd go whenever he wants to or when he is invited.
