I. Citation: Week after alert, two Indians working on key Afghan road killed in Tailban suicide attack By: Manu Pubby The Sunday Express April 13, 2008

II. Summary: This Article is about how a vehicle suicide bomber killed two Indian BRO (Border Roads Organisation) workers. He drove a Toyota into a bus full of workers a week after Afghanistan's minister warned them that their project was a target. They're working on a road that will give Afghanistan access to a sea port in Iran, and allow India a direct path bypassing Pakistan to Afghanistan. Many of the workers were injured in the attack, including two Afghan project personnel. 56 Afghanistan personnel were killed protecting the Indian workers. 80% of the project is done, and the project completion is scheduled for August of this year, and hopefully no one else will get hurt in the process.

A) This article relates to impact of interaction among and within major societies, because it shows how two societies can disagree, leading to the deaths of many. Also, it shows how one society (India) may work with another (Afghanistan) to accomplish something like this road.

B) Suicide bombers are very dangerous and slightly unpredictable in that it's hard to one when one may strike. For example, on September 11, 2001, a suicide bomber hijacked a plane and flew it into the Twin Towers in New York City, and no one saw it coming. In this case, there was a warning, but they still didn't know when to expect something like this, and it's a shame that these bombers feel they have to kill not only themselves, but others for an unreasonable cause.

C) The person who wrote this article is a male Indian.

D) This man may be very opinionated because the people killed were his own. Though he doesn't show much sign of bias, and even though he says things about the suicide bomber, it may not be because his people were killed, but because anyone who would blow up themselves and a bus full of workers is a bad and cruel person.

E) I'd like to hear from someone who may be in favor of these bombers, because I think it would be interesting to hear why they would do something like this, and what they believed to accomplish with such an act.

F) I feel that these suicide bombers are a major threat and need to be taken care of. We need to find these people before they kill more innocent people. They may have their own reasons for hating, but it shouldn't be such a drastic hate where they'd want to blow us all up. Their actions are really actually horribly ridiculous, because blowing up a group of people including yourself is never okay, no matter who you hate or what you believe.

I completly agree with Jamie. Anyone who has thoughts of killing other people, should be helped or taken out of society. Everyone has disagreements but they should not be enough to actually kill someone.
