Summary
A gang of british muslims planned to detonate 18 suicide bombs on transatlantic flights.  They were about to enter their desired flights when they were caught by airport security.  The 8 british muslims planned to create home made bombs on board the plane, disguised as soda bottles, they claimed to be doing this "in the name of Islam."  The flights destinations were New York, Montreal, Chicago, San francisco, Washington, and Toronto.  The 8 members were found with blue prints of their plan on a usb flash drive in one man's pocket.  If these bombs had detonated on the flights the result would have been devastating.

A: This article fits the AP world theme "cultural, religious, and intellectual developments" because these men wanted to commit the bombing in the name of Islam.
B: This article is like a repetition of september 11 except it was stopped.  On 9/11 a plane was driven into the world trade center, these 8 men who were planning to suicide bomb in london were doing it for the same cause.
C: The point of view is from two male reporters from the Telegraph in england.
D: I think that there was some bias information in this article because people were very upset to hear about an attempted terrorist attack, so the reporters tried to make it as fearful as possible.  The reporters said things like " the effects would be devastating" and " luckily they were caught by security."
E: I think that the article would be more informative if they had an oppinion from an Islamic person, not a terrorist, to see what their insight is in suicide bombing "in the name of Islam."
F: I am very thankful that the terrorists were caught before they could commit such a disaster.  I do not want another attack on the United States again from terrorists, once was more than enough.
