II. This article is about changing taxes and Israel's economy around so people who want to move back to Israel will be able to afford it. Their new plan will be put into effect within three months, and they hope will result in a major population increase. They expect to have doubled the amount of people returning to Israel once this law is put into effect. The current plan promotes not having to pay taxes for five years. However, once this new law is put into effect, the five year term will be changed to ten years, allowing the incomers to save double the money. Thus, with this deal and ability to save money, they expect the amount of incomers to increase.

III. Reactions:

A) This article relates to the theme "Impact of technology, economics, and demography on people and the environment" because it is dealing with the economy of Israel and the people of Israel.

B) This article takes place in Israel where they have never offered such a large amount of savings towards incomers looking to move back to Israel. Therefore, this great difference should change the way people look at the economy of Israel and change their thoughts about moving to Israel since it is more affordable.

C) The person who wrote this article is a male and an insider since he is from Israel. We can assume his information is accurate since he is an insider and not from another country or region.

D) The author's point of view is not discriminating how the information is being expressed since he is an insider and from Israel. However, since he is not moving to Israel himself and dealing with the economic problems, he may make inaccurate assumptions.

E) The point of view I would like to hear from is a person who is looking to move back to Israel because they would be dealing with this economic change. It would be helpful because then we could tell whether they believed this new economic plan would be beneficial towards the country of Israel, or doing nothing at all for it.

F) I think that this new plan will help Israel out and increase their population majorly. Since the incomers will have a major decrease in the amount of tax money they must pay, they will be more likely to move back to Israel because it is more affordable and they will be able to live a life there. If they did not make this new economic plan, more people might have chosen not to move to Israel because they could not afford to pay such high amounts of taxes.

Hey Brittney, so I really like the relevance of this article. Wow, way to pick em'. This is so relevant because of the gas prices that are soo expensive. It is also really great that all those poeple who want to move back home can. The only thing that I disagree with is the Point of view. I think that the article should be approached wiht caution because the author was in fact an insider. Although he probably had all the information he is attached to the situation. Therefor his judgement could be cloudy and he cold exxagerate. Otherwise I thouoght it was really good.
