II. This article is about how Israeli troops went and demolished four Palestinian homes. The state of Israel claims they " authorized the construction of three settlements, in late 80's." The witnesses to these events were people of the CPT aka Christian Peacemaker Teams. These teams view everything with non violence so of course they are bias and idmedietly accuse the Israelis guilty. The people living in these homes has very special pasts. The homes were not just regular places to live but they belonged to their parents, and their grand parents and so on. This was a very violent act to take charge and the Paletinians will get them back double as hard next time.
III. Reactions:
A) This article relates back to the AP World Theme of “State Building, Expansion and Conflict” becuase both the Israelis and Palestinians want to expand their territory but they are in conflict. This has been going on for a very lengthy period of time.
B) The Israeli-Palestianian confict is a "war" between the two countires about nemorous aspects. The greastest concern is about land. This conflict also deals with disputes between security, borders, statues, Holy Places, government, army and more.
C) The point of view for this article is from a Muslim citizen. He is an outsider for this conflict becuase he is not Israeli nor Palestinian. He is not bias but the evidence he gets from the CPT may be and he is persuaded by it.
D) I viewd this article with caution becuase its not the writer who is bias but the people he got the information from. The eye-witnesses: CPT. They strongly disagree with having violence as the answer so anything that someone does that is violent they will accusse them guily.
E) I wish that we had some dialauge from people that were living in the homes so we know really how much it ment to them. Also, I wish we had some evidence on why the Israelis did it, from the Israeli state directly.
F) I feel that this is very wrong. These two countries should just get a hold of themeselves and settle this conflict. It has been going on for way too long and they should just compromise already. If they dont, things will just keep getting worse.
