i. Citation: The Jerusalem Post; "Egypt to sign nuclear past with Russia." Date: March 24th, 2008. http://www.jpost.com/
ii. Summary: Basically the article is talking about how Egypt and Russia are getting together to build a nuclear power plate or facility. A main reason why Egypt is going to Russia is because Russia has advanced experiences in nuclear energy. This deal they had was signed daring the visit when Egypt President went to Russia on monday. This pact that Egypt and Russia have together is affecting all other countries, its a international pact. It is pressuring Iran into "abandoning" they're nuclear facility. The other many middle eastern countries that are involved are Jordan, Yemen, Morocco, Algeria, and possibly Syria. Russia is considered a global leader in nuclear knowledge, so clearly Russia is the go to when it comes to nuclear energy.
iii. Reaction:
A)The theme this article relates to is the development and interaction of cultures. Why this theme? Well because Egypt met up with and interacted with Russia, and this started the development of a nuclear facility, and with this pact they signed all other cultures got involved, so it was a international issue.
B) Russia has the history for experience with nuclear energy, with this its probably why Egypt went to Russia to develop this nuclear facility.
C) The Point of View in this article is, if i had to guess, a male news reporter who lives Jerusalem, he would be an outsider on this subject because it involves Egypt and Russia. The only reason why i say I'm taking a guess is because it says that it as by "The Media Line News Agency." I'm really not sure what that means.
D) Isreal seems to be... out of the issue on this, in other words they're both for the nuclear facility and at the same time against it, all together their just uncertain about the whole thing. The reason why i say this is because the writer uses the word "ambiguity" which means unclear or uncertain, and in this issue its being used in that Israel is just staying out of it.
E) A missing point of view in this article would be both the president of Egypt and Russia. I would like to hear what they had to say about the situation, see if they would deny it or say if they were doing for a peaceful reason or actually for harm, this would give me a clear view on the whole issue so now i would have two insiders and the outsider( the article that i have just read.).
F) I think if Egypt is going to Russia to get a deal signed to build a nuclear facility, meanwhile Russia is known for they're experience in nuclear energy, it is not a good sign. Something is up and i think we should look more in to it in case it would hurt us in the future.

Hey Brit! Yeah I think you did a great job with interpreting and understanding this article. Personally i think that Russia and Egypt shouldn't be building a nuclear power plant because of the pollution and negative effects it would have on the earth's atmosphere. Also, now that global warming has come to light i just think it's a bad idea.
