II. Summary
A rabbi was wounded when he was stabbed by a Palestinian man in the Old City in east Jerusalem. The attack happened near the city's old Damascus Gate, a busy area with a lot of Palestinian shops and cafes. The attacker escaped leaving behind only the blood stained knife. The was expected to raise unwanted tensions. On Sunday there was fighting between the Israeli police and stone throwing Jewish activists. The rabbi was a member of the Ateret Cohanim organisation, which helps Jewish settlers buy property in the mainly old Arab city.
III.
A. This attack relate to the theme of "Development and transformation of social structures" becausethese tow groups, the Palestinians and the Jewish people, are fighting not only over the stabbing os a rabbi by a Palestinian, but also over land.
B. This article has a lot of historical backgroung to it, these two groups have been fighting for a very long time. It started in 1967 when they were in war and Israel claimed Jerusalum its capital. The Palestiniams wanted the occupied portion of the land.
C. The article is written by a male Jewish insider. He could be considered an insider because he mentions a lot of the Jewish communities in the article.
D. The author of this article is in favor of the Jewish side rather then on the Palestinian side because in the arrticle he istalking about what the Palestinians did wrong and how it is there fault as opposed to blaming it on the Jews.
E. It would be helpful to hear from a Palestinian because they might have defferent input on what happened and give information on what the Jews did wrong that the author of the article did not report.
F. I feel that they should just split the land or come up with a solution to this problem because there is so much unneccessary violence going on in the world and if any of it can be stopped then it should be stopped.

Christie... I couldnt agree with you more. I really wish that the Israelis and the Palestianeans would just end their fight already. They dont understand that they cant both have everythign. They need to compromise in order to make things better. If they dont, things with just get worse, day by day.
