Summary:
This article is about a Sudanese president is accusing the media of exaggerating the problems that Darfur is facing against the government. El-Bashir spoke a news conference explaining the media exaggerating the problems. The United Nations disagree saying that El-Bashir’s government is to blame. El-Bashir rejected the claims of it being an ethnic problem. African American peacemakers are going to Darfur to sort out their problems.
-The article relates to “impact of interaction among and within major societies” because this article is the problems with the Sudanese government is accusing the media of lying about the problems of Darfur.
-The article talks about the problems in Darfur starting in 2003, but the media didn’t exaggerate it until later on.
-Elham Nakhwali is from a Dubi as a reporter who is male, and is African American who might think that Darfur is horrible.
-There was none of his insights in the article.
-There are two missing voices that need to be heard. One is from a Darfur citizen because they know had horrible the conditions are in the Darfur region. The second one is from a reporter who is said to exaggerate the problems in Darfur because they know the story better than anyone.
-I think he is lying, and that the conditions in Darfur are as bad as the media says. I think that the problems are the citizens’ ethnic background, nothing else.

I really agree with your thoughts on this issue. The problem in Darfur is not being exaggerated at all. Its as bad as it seems from news and media coverage. I also agree with the missing voices suggested. Having those two would bring a lot more insight into the article and give it more depth.
