II. On Monday, March 3rd 2008, 117 Palestinians have been killed Israeli armed forces. This is just so far. Among these deaths include infants, children, teenagers and adults. The UK blames the Israelis for using "excessive force". Many countries have asked Israel to decrease its armed forces and take it easy. The Israels have done nothing but ignore their requests. Israeli Prime Minister Olmert says Israel "has been forced to employ “its elementary right of self-defence” in the face of rocket attacks from Hamas ‘militants’ in Gaza. " Leading to Israel having a blockade upon Gaza since their victory against the West Bank in January 2006. The Israels purpose is crystal clear. They want the Gazas to decline and for themselves to rise against the Hamas. In order to solve this problem, The President of the Palestinian Authority has no choice but to ask them to end the blockade.

II.
A) This article relates to the AP World History theme "Development and transformation of social strucures." This is significant because obviously Israel wants to rise and in order to achieve that, they have to make some other countries fall.
B)This article has a lot of historical background becuase of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which is mainly a dispute over land.
C)This article was written by a Muslim and is the President of International Movement for a Just World (JUST). He is an outsider but then again he is fighting for justice in this world so he is almost an insider.
D) The point of view is spoken from a Muslim outsider that is invoved in a world justice act and wants to stop incidences like the onces in the artice. This author is bias becuase he uses his opinion to tell the Israeli Prime Minister to back off and telling the Palistinean ruler to give him direction.
E) It would be nice to hear from a Israeli to see if what this Muslim is really getting his facts straight about how all Israel is trying to do is rise and have other countries fall.
F)I don't think this is right at all and Israel should find better ways to rise. They should just end the Israeli-Palistinean Conflict and have a treaty and it would end all this. This also relates to the Sunni vs Shi'ites.
