N Korea’s food Crisis ‘worsening’
By: John Sudworth
II.
There has been a problem in North Korea with the food supply. The food supply in North Korea has been bad but now it is worsening. North Korea has been rationing the food throughout the country, but due to current problems they have had to cut the rations by at least 60%. Fifteen North Korean citizens have been killed for trying to cross over to China in search of food.

A) This article fits in the AP world theme, impact of technology, economics, and demography on people and the environment. It best fits in this theme because in North Korea the economy and government is so weak they cannot get food to supply the country. The demography is also bad they cannot grow anything.
B) North Korea is a dictatorship run by Kim Jong-il he is a horrible leader and is very harsh. He cannot run the country that’s why there are such bad conditions in North Korea.
C+D) I believe that this article is written by and American citizen. He could be making out the food problem in Korea much worse than it actually is.
E) it would be nice to hear from a citizen that is living in North Korea to see how they are getting through the hard times with the food shortage. To see if the author is making the problem out to be worse than it actually is.
F) it is horrible that the government cannot supply food for the citizens. Many of innocent good citizens are suffering from this food shortage. About 20 million North Koreans are suffering from this shortage of food supplies.
