Summary: Three terrorist from the middle east were just arrested
and suspected of making a plot to bomb the United States, Bristish,
Austrailian, and Israeli embassies in Manila. The Authorties think
that the three terrorists were connected with the Indonesia-based
terror group, Jemaah Islaniyah and Abu Sayyaf, a small violent
southern Philippine-based group blacklisted by Washington.
Both groups have been accused for deadly bomb attacks, especially for
2004 bombing of a ferry that killed one hundred-six people
"in the country's worst terrorist attack". Fortunately, the terrorists have
been captured and arrested, one found in Manila and the others in
the southern Philippines.
AP World Theme: State-building, expansion, and conflict
Relationship: I believe this AP World Theme is connected to the article because
it is about conflict that terrorists are causing and how they were stopped.
Historical Background: Truthfully there isn't a direct answer for why
the terrorist would want to bomb all these people, but what i can tell you
is about the Abu Sayyafs. They are "militant Islamist seperatist groups

is about the Abu Sayyafs. They are "militant Islamist seperatist groups
based in and around the southern islands of the Philippines, in Bangsamoro where for
almost 30 years various Muslim groups have been engaged in an insurgency for a state,
independent of the predominantly Christian Philippines" (Credit-Wikipedia)
Point of View: This article just says it is by the associated press, but I can tell
by the context it is by someone in the Philippines (An insider)

Bias: There is one point of bias in this article. One is that
in the article it states "in the country's worst terrorist attack". Worst is
in the article it states "in the country's worst terrorist attack". Worst is
an opinion word and not all people may see it in this perspective.
Missing Voice: I wish I could have an article or statement from one of
the suspected bombers' citizens to see how they would react to the
situation. I think they would have a strong opinion and include a ton of
bias material.

My Point of View: Although I believe that these terrorists were up to no good,
I wish the article stated the proof they had against these arrested men. Thankfully,
they were arrested, but how do we know that these men were the only ones involved in the plot?
