2 Summary- The Iraqi government continues to defend the people, even though they were caught off guard. They extended Shia militian to hand over their weapons for ten days, in the city of Basra. the prime minister vowed o o continue to fight, while the US forces joined the battle. At the same time aid agencies were concerned with the wellfare of the families of teh region. The fact, some families may have as little as 2 days drinking water. for this reason the agencies have asked for safe pasage of food and medical suplies.

B. The Shi'ites are know for being very radical with their relgiona nd sometimes geared more towards violence. Therefore concluding why tehy are in this perdicament with the Iraqi government.

D-This author is a non-middle eastern man, indicating that he isn't from the area.
E-The missing voice could be a Shia militia man, beacause we haven't heard how they feel on the situation. It wold be easier to undstand this situation if we knew what they felt on the deadline extending.
F- I feel as if the militia men should hand in their weapons because it would help keep peace with people. It could also eliminate more fighting.
