II. This article is about a car bombing that happened in a neighborhood in Damascus. One of the bodies of a killed man was identified as Imad Mughniyeh, who used to be America’s most wanted terrorist before Osama bin Laden. He is known to be responsible for a pair of bombings of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983 and 1984 that killed 72 people, as well as the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 300 men. He served as the operational commander for Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Shi’ite militia, and was blamed for suicide bombings, kidnappings, and hijackings. Since he has not been seen in public for a long time, his death came as a surprise to many people. Israeli officials say that they had no involvement in the attack. Imad Mughniyeh had a $25 million U.S. bounty on his head. (Bounty-a premium or reward, esp. one offered by a government)

III.
A. This article relates to the theme, “State-building, expansion, and conflict,” because it is about bombing and terrorism.
B. Imad Mughniyeh has been organizing terrorist attacks even before Osama bin Ladan and has killed many people. He has been in hiding for a very long time and was one of the world's most wanted fugitives.
C. The reporter is most likely an American so would be considered an outsider.
D. There are no signs of bias in this article. This is because the author is mostly reporting facts and not his opinions.
E. It would be helpful to hear from another terrorist and see his views about the death of a wanted terrorist.
F. I think it is good that he was finally killed because he has killed and injured many people and has finally been stopped. If he wasn’t dead he might have attacked more people. I also think it is ironic that he died in a car bombing because as a terrorist, he has done plenty of bombings and now he is a victim of a bombing just like the ones he has done.
