Hamas's Human Sheilds

SUMMARY: Recently there has been rocket assualts on citizens in Isreal and in Gaza. Even though these two are slightly enemies, the Gazan Defense Minister is consulting the topmost legal Israeli authorities. The people behind that attacks are Gazan terrorists and have killed many in both Gaza and israel and that is why the two countries are working together. If israel doesnt defend its own population then the attacks will not end. According the the Geneva Convention this is a war crime. the terrorists attacks on its own people do not help the image of islamic people at all. all terrorists have long been using "human shields" , which means the civilians have been dying for no reason. In november the terrorists escaped israeli police by dressing up as women, while some of the actual women died. when a specific person is targeted by the authorities they find a way to make it so that the women and children end up losing their lives. The people trying to slove these problems think that the houses that fire missels shuold be bulldozed and that there should be warning systems giving the innocent civilians time to escape. Israel has suffered a lot for no reason and people should go in and place the blame on the actual people behind the violence, not thier human shields.

A) I think that this article can best relate to the theme of "State-building, expansion, and conflict". this is because these two societies used to be flourishing but now they are not so much because there has for a long time been a conflict between that area and the horrible things taht occur there.
B) the conflict goes back an extremely long way. all of the countries want isreal because they all beleive it was promised to them by god. also there is conflict between the sunni and Shi'ite sects of the Islamic faith.
C) the name and residential place of the author of this aritcle are unfortunately undisclosed but it seems that the person writing is definitely on the side that is not performing these acts of violence. also it seems like they are living or spending time in the area becuase it sounds like they know what is going on firsthand.
D) the fact that the author is not on the attackers side should be approached slightly cautiously because they could possibly make the attacks and the attackers seem worse than they actually are.
E) i would love to hear from someone who is on the side of the attackers or is one of them. also it would be very helpful to hear from one of the civilians to hear what going through life fearing these attacks is like.
F) i think that the acts described in this article are very hard to hear about. its bonechilling to think about going through life constantly fearing that you are about to get blown up for no aparent reason or for something that is not your fault. i think that these people need to learn how to settle problems without using violence. all violence does is cause more problems.
