II. SUMMARY

As the death tolls of the cyclone continue to raise, Myanmar's junta put a threat of punishment to any person who will hoard or trade any products that are to be used for the cyclone's relief effort. Yet, Myanmar's army has been questioned of interfering with the relief supplies. The death toll has now risen to 43,318.

III. REACTIONS

1. This article relates to the theme of the impact of interaction among and within major societies. This is true because it is the interaction the is going on within Myanmar due to this cyclone.
2. Recently, a cyclone hit Myanmar and has had a devastating effect on its population. Now, they are working on it's relief effort.
3. Well, it is from a Japanese newspaper so it probably is a Japanese writer, who would be an outsider on the situation
4. There is no indication of any bias remarks.
5. It would be good to hear from the ruler of Myanmar to get his opinions on the relief effort.
6. I think this cyclone is a very upsetting and that everyone needs to help with the relief efforts. I think that it would be a horrible crime if somebody would be stealing the products that are supposed to be used for the relief effort. These people really need these products! If the army is stealing them, i think that would leave a really bad reputation of Myanmar because that is a horrible crime.

i agree with what you said because it is a horrible accident and now during the relief effort the army who is supposed to protect and help the people is now stealing from them and deceiving them which is the total opposite that the army is supposed to do. They are supposed to protect and serve not neglect and steal
