- This article is about Israeli professor David Newman and his point of view on the Israeli academic boycott. Professor Newman is criticizing his fellow Israeli professors for not responding to the calls for a boycott. He feels they need to stick up for them selves more by talking about some of the positive things that they are doing with the Palestinians. He also feels that the Israeli government has not done enough to defend its academic institutions against a boycott.

 A) This article relates to the A.P. world history theme of impact of interactions among and within major societies, because Brittan is interacting with Israel by threatening to cut off its funding to Israeli schools.

 B) Brittan has been providing Israeli schools with funding, and they are now threatening to stop helping them hoping that this will pressure them to change their polices on the fighting of Palestine.

C) This article is written by Jonny Paul a male J-Post correspondent located in Brittan.

 D) The writer of this article shows no biased because the entire article is written about someone else’s point of view on the academic boycott. But the person whose opinion is being stated in this article (professor David Newman) shows possible biased because he is from Israel and is a teacher however he teaches in Brittan.

 E) One missing voice from this article that could be important would be from someone who is threatening Israel with an academic boycott because they would have a very different view on the entire situation.

 F) I think that Brittan threatening them with an academic boycott unless they change their policy with Palestine is a very good idea because the fighting between Palestine and Israel has been going on for too long and the Israelis needs their grants.
