Reactions:
This article relates to the AP World History Theme of Impact of interaction among and within major societies. It is this theme because teenagers in Jerusalem are coming in contact with one another and are engaged in violent actions.

The eight teenagers that were involved in the attack were members of a gang. When police searched the homes are these teens they uncovered e-mails that stated that, they called on Jewish residents to come to the neighborhood mall on holocaust remembrance day to "take revenge" on the Arab teens and "expel" them from their neighborhood.

The author of this article is most likely a Jewish man and is an outsider on the issue being reported.

It may be hard to fully understand this situation being reported because it was written by a Jewish man. Since he was not there to witness this attack so he can not understand every little detail of what had happened.

The points of view that are missing from the article are the voices of the eight teenagers. If ther voices of these people were included, than the reasoning of why they did what they did would be clear to readers.

I think that this article was very interesting and that it is horrible that people so young are involved in gangs and violence.
