B. Terrorist attacks have been very abundant in the past couple of years. Many have tried to stop them from happening before they are carried out and this is one of those situations. In 2006, 3 men in their early twenties plotted to assassinate George W. Bush while he was visiting Israel. They also plotted to attack American and Danish embassies in Amman, Israel. They are Jordanian and their names are Nidhal Musleh al-Momani, Sattam al-Zawahrah and Tharwat Daraj. All three men were arrested November 28, 2006, that is the day before Bush landed in Israel. The justice bringers that found the 3 men said the Jordanians had large plastic bottles filled with gasoline which were to be used for explosives and machine guns in hand. When defense attorneys heard the case they called it "exaggerated and unrealistic" because how could 3 men achieve this big task. But the prosecutors heard Nidhal Musleh al-Momani say that he wanted to blow himself up inside of Bushes convoy. The men were found guilty and security was increased after this. The 3 men were almost sentenced to death but because of their young age, the judge decided 15 years in prison was good enough.
C. 1. This passage relates to the AP World theme state-building, expansion and conflict. Because there are trans regional meetings and organizations between the Danish a Americans. Also, there is a big conflict having to do with a terrorist revolt against the president.
2. For about 10 years the U.S. have been having many troubles with concept of terrorism. There has been 9/11 and the war on terror now being fought in Iraq. These terrorist attacks have been happening for the longest time and don't seem to be changing at any fast pace.
3. This article is from a newspaper, either girl or boy. The facts are the points made and said by defense and the prosecutors which leads me to think they were interviewed by the author.
4. This information could possibly biased because this was held in a court. Although they vow to tell the truth a lie can easily be inserted into the true facts. Lawyers try to do their job and that is to win the case but both sides can't win.
5. A voice that i didn't hear from that I would like to, would be the voice of George W. Bush. I would be anxious to see if George is shaken up from this prevented death and to see if he would up his security because this was a close call. I know if I was him i would still be insecure about going to other countries.
6. I believe the safety of our more important figures in the government should be completely secure. There have been a lot of assassinations of presidents in the U.S. to name one Abraham Lincoln. Great men can easily be killed everyday if our security for them is not top notch. We must make that one our first priorities and be sure that this problem gets dealt with now with the threat of increased terrorist attacks.

I completely agree with what Ronnie is saying. Saftey in our country, the USA, has always been put in jeopardy by terrorism. I think we definatly need to hear from President Bush because he is the person being threatened. I think that this shows that all people, not just terrorists need to watch what they say and how they say it. These three people, although they are young, should have had a harsher punishment because of a threat to kill someone else.

I also definately agree with what Ronnie said. It is really important to keep security as a priority because terrorist attacks are becoming more and more popular. If a US president is killed it will leave the entire country in chaos which could open up even more of an oppurtunity for other attacks. I think that becasue of the treats, security should be even tighter in order to reduce risks of assassinations. So many people depend on the president to help our country and it would be terrible if he was killed.

I agree with both Nicole Steph and Ronnie, because it is important that threats like this are not just something you forget about. Security is always something that we should have just incase of attacks, so we are always prepared. The U.S. has been threatened before and if they suceeded the country would fall apart, and nothing would be controled.
