"Iran's Jew's wont mark Yom Han'atzmaut"

Summary: Basically this article is talking about how the Iranian Jewish community will not recognize the 60th year of being independent. when they were asked why, they simple said that "We are Iranians, we have no relation with Israel. " They say that their reason for not recognizing this day is because of the murder of completely innocent Palestinian people. The Iranian leader felt that Israels care much about Palestinian people and that they kill innocent people. They say that demonstrate "anti-human behavior." Lastly it is said that in Iran there are no problems for Jews in the country, they have the freedom of religion.

Reaction:
A: For this article the AP world history theme would be the cultural, religious and intellectual developments because the Iranian Jewish will not celebrate or mark down the 6oth year of Independence for Israel. This is considered a cultural tradition and they are not even going to look at it.

B: The historical background of the article is that Israel and Iran have had some conflicts. There was a time where they were allies but then Iran did not see Israel as a country. I'm guessing this made Israel mad and now this whole thing has rose up .

C: The point of view in this article is the staff at Jerusalem Post (That's what it says.). But the person writing it is an insider and is Israeli.

D: I would say since the person writing this article is Israeli there is some favoritism toward its own country. Its saying how they think it is wrong that the Iranian Jewish community is not recognizing the celebration of the 6oth year of independence. they also make it seem that the Iranian Jewish people are against Israel.

E: A missing point of view in this article would be a common Iranian Jewish, not a leader. This would help me get a full understanding of the article because it would let me know how they felt about it, cause the common people could have a different opinion than the rulers and political leaders.

F: I think its a little weird that the Iranian Jewish community would mark the 60th year that Israel is independent. i feel that they should because even though they live in a different area they are still the same religion. I also feel that they shouldn't make Israel sound bad by saying they kill innocent people, if they don't believe in the celebration then don't believe but don't say that they kill innocent people.
