China earthquake death poll tops 51,000

II. This article concerns a recent earthquake that happened in China last week. This terrible natural disaster has killed many many chinese people. The death poll seems to be up to about 51,000 people killed, and many more injured. The earthquake destroyed eighty percent of the buildings around the epicenter and a largw portion of people are currently homeless. Since the population is so high in China, they need about 3.3 million tents to hold all of the people who lost their homes. 400,000 tents have already been delivered for people. The Chinese people are hoping that other nations will help by donating tents, which some have already.

B. Natural disasters have hit many parts of the world forever. A few years ago, Hurricane Katrina, which hit in New Orleans left a lot of people homeless and they had to all move. Its terrible when it happens but theres nothing we can really do to prevent them.
