II. Summary
The most-wanted rebel leader vowed that he will fight across Africa. They set out from Darfur. They are set to raid Omdurman and it is getting very close to get a set of the government. The city isn’t safe because of the rebels. “Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has accused Chad of being behind the attack and reserved Sudan's right to retaliate; while his top adviser Nafie Ali Nafie said Ibrahim was just fooling himself.” They are going to evacuate the Sudanese president. The city is scared because of the lack of military supplies.
III. Reactions
1) The themes this most relates to is Impact of interaction among and within major societies because the rebels are fighting with Sudan to gain more control.
2) The rebels have been fight since Darfur started.
3) The point of view is from outsider who doesn’t have as much clue to natives in Sudan.
4) The author is against the issues because the author gives a little bit of their insight.
5) The point of view that is missing is from a Sudanese citizen because they are getting attacked by the rebels, and they need be part of how the city will be protected.
6) I think the rebels are trying to scare the government to get what they want.
