The article is talking about how the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the air has increased over the past 800,000 years. This increase has changed and affected many, many things today. In Antarcitca, the results from the drillings in the ice done by scientists showed that humans are the absolute reason for extreme climate increase we are now experiencing. The reason for this global warming is mainly because we humans burn fossil feuls. The effects of global warming could be on earth-shattering proportions.
A) The AP theme that this arcticle most relates to is the "Impact of technology, economics, and demography on people and the environment." This relates because the humans technology is causing the environment to be altered and causing many different impacts on society.
B) The start of burning of fossil fuels started many, many years ago, but, the in the past couple decades, the amount being burned has skyrocketed, causing all sorts of global troubles and could be catastrophic if not stopped of decreased considerably.
C) Since the article is coming from a Chinese newspaper, the author is most likely that the author is from China. Since the article is mostly about the studies being done in Antarctica, the author is an outsider becuase they aren't from antarctica, however they are somewhat of an insider since it's called "Global Warming" not "Antarctica Warming."
D) There really is no bias in this article, however the strong feelings presented in the article could be vastly different than someone who does not know so much about the topic or someone who doesn't care as much as the author clearly does.
E) The first point of view that i would want to hear from is from someone who is not educated about global warming and thinks its not real and not a big deal because it would be interesting to hear what people who don't know what it really is think that it is. Another point of view i would like to hear from is someone who owns a big oil company or someone who owns a big oil burning cmopany becuase it would show us what they are saying to defend what they are doing or if they even know that they are the leading cause for all ofthis.
F) When i hear the reports on global warming they scare me so much. It's so frightening to think that one day are planet will be covered by they melting water. I wish there was somehting that could be done to save us, but no matter how hard i think , there is nothing that would not completely alter everyones lives since the entire world is so dependant on this oil. Our beuatiful planet is dying and its our fault and its sad to think this couldve been prevented. However, i think if we slwly bu t surely decline the rate of what we are releasing into the envirtonement we can beat this and even though the effects that have already happened are irreversable, maybe we can save ourselves from destruction. But if we want to do that somehting has to be done. Now.

Global warming is a frightening topic. Its scary to think that in not a long time the water may rise and many places may be gone! Its our fault and we need to start working to help the environment now before its too late and too much damage is done
I think global warming is a very controversial topic and some seem to deny it, especially people in the oil business. It seems that people are becoming more and more aware of this environmental crisis but are not acting upon it and I find that our generation is more involved in helping the environment than the older generations. Global warming is a scary thing, but it is fixable. If we don't act now, our Earth can be destroyed.
i completely agree with josh global warming is a scary thing, and sooner or later on it is going to ruin the face of the earth. i think that we the people living on this earth should do something about it because along with affecting the earth it will destroy human kind as well.
